    Steps to Success is the annual signature event of the Frederick Women’s Business Network…and it’s virtual this year! From its earliest beginnings, the purpose of this event is to connect professional women and provide opportunities for professional growth. The WBN seeks out the best facilitators who lead group discussions in a wide variety of topics that include business growth initiatives, women’s health, and personal development. In these zoom sessions, you will find yourself with like-minded women who support your desire for self-improvement. The daily session consists of one/two speakers with group discussion to INFORM each woman with tools to accelerate growth they desire. For our 13th annual Steps to Success event, our Keynote Speaker is Sarah Hempel Irani, Artist/Owner of Hempel Studios. Sarah discusses her work on The Claire McCardell Project. Claire McCardell is a Frederick fashion icon from the 1940’s innovating women’s clothing in ways that we now take for granted!

  2. Flow Yoga

    A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Focus is on basic poses, breath and alignment. Standing balance poses will be practiced minimally and modifications will be provided. A great next step if you have been practicing beginner yoga.
