1. What yard waste can I set out?

The following can be set out:

• Branches less than six inches in diameter and less than 7 feet in length
• Bushes
• Grass clippings
• Leaves
• Plants
• Weeds

2. What materials cannot be set out?

The following cannot be set out:

• All tree/shrub waste over 6 inches in diameter or over 7 feet in length
• Edible products from any garden, yard, lawn or landscaped area
• Pavement
• Rocks
• Sod
• Soil

3. What containers may be used?

Up to 35 gallon reusable containers and brown paper yard waste bags (also known as Kraft bags) will be collected. Plastic bags are not allowed.

4. How do I set out tree limbs and brush?

Brush and tree limbs must be cut into lengths not exceeding 7 feet in length. Items must be bundled or tied with biodegradable twine or string and bundles shall not weigh more than 25 pounds.
