Yes, every year between December 1st-December 31st, you must renew your registration. Beginning in November, the False Alarm Coordinator will send correspondence to advising the need to renew your registration.

No, there is not a fee to renew your registration. However, there is a $100 fine for failure to renew your registration.

Contact the False Alarm Coordinator to have you alarm registration closed.

You can contact the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association to request a list of current members. You can also contact the State of Maryland’s licensing department, and Better Business Bureau for details on a specific alarm company.
