The Frederick Police Department has made an arrest in an armed robbery....
On 08/27/2012 at 1138 AM the Frederick Police Department received a complaint of an armed robbery that had occurred in the unit block of W All Saints Street. Police Officers and Detectives arrived on scene quickly and began an investigation.
Officers were able to identify the suspect as Wendell Bruce Thomas, 50 years of age, of Frederick, MD. Officers were able to determine that Thomas committed an armed robbery of an individual inside of a residence in the unit block of W All Saints Street. During this incident a handgun replica BB Gun was used to assault the victims. Officers located Thomas at his residence in the 100 block of W South Street. Thomas was taken into custody at this time without incident.
At the time of this release Thomas is awaiting an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. Various units within the Frederick Police Department responded quickly in this incident to ensure the capture of the suspect.
