Officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Baker Place in reference to a burglary. The investigation resulted in numerous charges for the ex-boyfriend of a tenant.
On 08/16/2012 at approximately 10:19PM hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Baker Place in reference to a disorderly call. Officers learned an ex-boyfriend (Stephon Christopher Morris) attempted to break into his girlfriends residence. After forcing entry into the apartment, Morris destroyed numerous items within the residence. As the victim attempted to leave, she locked herself in her vehicle but Morris attempted to gain entry into the car. Morris slammed his fists into the windshield causing it to break. Eventually, the victim was able to drive away and called for police assistance. When officers arrived, they attempted to place Morris into custody but he resisted and fled on foot. He was captured a short time later and taken to the Frederick County Detention Center for processing.

2) 4th Degree Breaking and Entering
3) Resisting arrest

6) Malicious Destruction of Property (2 counts)
