Frederick, MD - The Frederick City Parking Department is pleased to announce the launch of its new "Park Frederick" app, which allows residents and visitors to check real-time parking availability in select Downtown Frederick garages.

The Park Frederick app, available for free on Google Play and The Apple Store, offers a user-friendly experience with a clean and intuitive design, making parking convenient and effortless. Through the app, Downtown Frederick residents and visitors will be able to receive turn-by-turn directions to parking locations and stay informed with timely updates.

"This app was designed with residents, workers, and visitors in mind and to provide them with confidence to effortlessly navigate Downtown parking in a way that is more convenient for them,” says Steven Johnson, Parking Manager with The City of Frederick.

Currently, the Park Frederick app provides up-to-date parking information on parking availability within the City’s public garages. The City is currently developing access to the application’s information through the City of Frederick’s website and the Park Frederick website, The Park Frederick app will enhance the way Frederick City Parking Department distributes information and will revolutionize the way residents, workers, and visitors plan for their visits downtown, with the ability to easily access up-to-date parking information from their mobile devices.

"We are thrilled to introduce our innovative parking app, Park Frederick, which leverages technology to access real-time parking availability through the click of a button,” says Richard Griffin, Director of Economic Development with The City of Frederick.
