The City’s newly-formed Technical Code Appeals Board is currently seeking interested individuals to fill vacancies for a 3-year term. The Technical Code Appeals Board meets as needed to hear disputes relating to the City’s Codes covering Vacant Properties, Rental Licensing, and Stormwater Management, as well as the technical codes including Building Code, Residential Code, Electrical Code, Fire Prevention Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, and Fuel and Gas Code. The member will be appointed to a three-year term, and at the conclusion thereof will be eligible for reappointment to a 3-year term. The Board shall meet as necessary to discharge its duties. The board is made up of five members who shall reside in the City. At least three of the five members must be registered in Maryland as either a contractor, architect, or engineer.
