On August 30, 2023, the Frederick Police Department's Major Crimes Unit and Special Response Team executed a targeted search warrant at a suspect’s residence in the 1100 block of Key Parkway. The suspect in the operation was identified as Tyrelle Jermaine Sullivan, DOB: 04-29-1987.
Sullivan is suspected of committing a series of residential burglaries throughout the City of Frederick between June and August, of this year. At the conclusion of the search warrant, Sullivan was arrested. He now faces a range of charges, including two counts of Attempted 1st Degree Burglary, two counts of 4th Degree Burglary, and two counts of Malicious Destruction of Property. Presently, Sullivan is being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Prior to these current charges, in 2019, Sullivan was the subject of an extensive investigation involving a series of residential burglaries in the City of Frederick. The investigation implicated Sullivan in approximately 30 burglary cases, resulting in his conviction on numerous felony charges, including 1st Degree Burglary, Theft Scheme, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
