Electric Vehicle charging stations now available at two City parks

The City of Frederick is excited to announce the installation of several electric vehicle charging stations.

In partnership with Potomac Edison, the City selected three sites for electric vehicle charging stations. Two Level II and two DC Fast chargers are now available at Max Kehne Park. Two Level II charging stations are also available at Taskers Chance Park.

These new charging stations represent a concerted effort to improve electric vehicle infrastructure in The City of Frederick as electric vehicles become more prevalent in our community. As part of that strategy, two additional Level II charging stations will be ready in the downtown area soon.
