The City of Frederick and the Frederick Police Department are thrilled to invite neighborhoods throughout the city to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 40th Annual National Night Out event. Taking place on Tuesday, August 1st, this event encourages residents to come together, raise awareness for crime and drug prevention, and promote a strong relationship between the community and The Frederick Police Department.
From 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1st, residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside with their neighbors and local law enforcement. The City of Frederick, in collaboration with the Frederick Police Department, will be sponsoring three National Night Out locations this year:
Hill Street Park – 100 Hill Street
Carrollton Park – 455 Center Street
Mullinix Park – 16 South Bentz Street
Join us for a fun evening filled with excitement and community engagement. All three locations will feature free food, live music, face painting, police cars, K9 demos, and much more.
The NNO organizing committee actively seeks organizations interested in hosting a table at the event and those willing to make in-kind donations for food and/or door prizes. We also welcome volunteers to assist with various activities throughout the evening.

To participate in National Night Out as a volunteer, please visit: VOLUNTEER
We encourage all residents of The City of Frederick to mark their calendars and make plans to attend one of our city-sponsored locations. National Night Out is an excellent opportunity to connect with your community, show your support for crime prevention efforts, and enjoy an evening of fun-filled activities for all ages.
