City to host "Maryland Women and the Fight for the Vote" event


Everyone knows suffragists Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. But who is familiar with the women who fought for the right to vote in Maryland?Join Dr. Amy Rosenkrans, Maryland Women's Heritage Center, on March 29 at 6 p.m. to learn about Maryland suffragists, including Frederick’s own Bertha and Florence Trail.

This discussion will take place at the City of Frederick’s Municipal Office Annex in Conference Room C at 140 W. Patrick Street, Frederick, Md. 21701.

This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. This event is co-sponsored by The City of Frederick Planning Department and the Frederick Woman's Civic Club.
