The Frederick Police Department is investigating an incident that led to two people being stabbed.
On July 10, 2022, around 2:36 AM, officers from the Frederick Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 90 Waverley Drive, in Frederick City, for a reported stabbing. Arriving officers located two adult male victims who had been stabbed several times. Officers rendered aid to the victims and both were transported to area medical care facilities and are in stable condition.
Limited information is available at this time; however, the Frederick Police Department does not believe this was a random act of violence. An increased presence of patrol officers will be in the Waverley Drive area and detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Det. Residents in the area with cameras or video surveillance are asked to check their systems and contact Det. Yackovich if they observe anything that might be helpful to FPD in this investigation.
