The Frederick Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred overnight and left one person injured.
On Dec. 20, 2021, around 2:30 a.m., officers from the Frederick Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of S. Pendleton Court, in Frederick City, for a reported shooting. Arriving officers located an adult victim with a gunshot wound. This person was transported to an area trauma center for treatment and is in stable condition.
This is an active investigation and the Frederick Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Det. Residents in the area with cameras or video surveillance are asked to check their systems and contact Det. Yackovich if they observe anything that might be helpful to FPD in this investigation.
