HHS to Offer Free Summer Food Service Program for Children 18 and Under

The Department of Housing and Human Services is providing free lunch every weekday this summer for children ages 18 and under. All children, particularly those who receive free or reduced meals during the school year, are encouraged to participate. The fresh meals are provided in various parks and youth centers throughout Frederick and Brunswick and can be picked up by either the child or their parent/guardian. 

Locations, Dates and Times: 

  • Monocacy Park, Delaware Road – June 28, 2021 to August 13, 2021 – 12-12:30 p.m.
  • Pal Center, Pennsylvania Ave – June 21, 2021 to August 17, 2021 - 12-12:30 p.m. 
  • Willow Brook Park, McClellan Drive - June 28, 2021 to August 13, 2021 – 12-12:30 p.m. 
  • Amber Meadows Park, Amber Drive – June 21, 2021 to August 17, 2021 - 12-12:30 p.m. 
  • Hill Street Park Pavilion, Hill Street - June 21, 2021 to August 17, 2021 – 12:30-1:30 p.m. 
  • Windsor Gardens Apartments, Key Parkway – June 21, 2021 to August 17, 2021 – 12:30-1:00 p.m.
  • Brunswick Library, North Maple Avenue – June 21, 2021 to August 17, 2021 – 12:15-1:00 p.m. 
  • Overlook Park, Coralberry Court – June 28, 2021 to August 13, 2021 – 12-12:30 p.m. 
  • Greenleaf Park, Greenleaf Drive – June 28, 2021 to August 13, 2021 – 12-12:30 p.m.
