On June 18, 2012 the Frederick Police Department arrested a subject for attempting to break into 4 businesses
On Monday June 18, 2012 at approximately 2345 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of the Frederick Shopping Center on West 7th Street for the report of suspicious activity. A witness overheard some subjects discussing a potential burglary at one of the stores in the shopping center. Upon arrival OFC Dodson conducted a check of the center and located a subject to the rear of the center. The subject was dressed in all black clothing and attempted to duck behind a dumpster when OFC Dodson approached him. OFC Dodson contacted the subject, who was later identified as Ryan Patrick Noble (W/M/8-29-1983). Next to Noble was a black duffel bag with a pry bar protruding from it. Directly behind Noble was a door to a business. OFC Dodson inspected the door and found fresh pry marks on the door. The door frame was bent outward as well. OFC Dodson placed Noble under arrest. A search incident to arrest yielded pliers, box cutter and loose prescription medication. A search of the shopping center revealed three other businesses that had fresh pry marks on the doors. No entry was made to any store and nothing was stolen from the businesses. The arrestee’s information and charges are as follows:
