Deadline Extended for Community Survey - Chief of Police Hiring

The Search Committee for the next Frederick Police Department Chief of Police has extended the deadline for the community survey. Community members now have until November 6, 2020.

Take the survey at frederickmd.gov/chiefsearch. Available in English and Spanish, the survey can be completed in 5 minutes. Paper versions of the survey are available at City Hall if needed and can be returned to the drop box outside of City Hall along Church Street. 

Additionally, other feedback mechanisms remain. 

  • Listen to and make comments at our Virtual Committee Meetings. The committee is meeting weekly on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the search process. Listen in by calling 929-229-5669 and entering code 58654218#. Public comment is accepted near the end of each meeting. 
  • Submit written comments. Share additional thoughts/questions/concerns on the public engagement page: frederickmd.gov/chieffeedback
