Officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit made a drug arrest for possession of marijuana, oxycodone and aderol.
On 06/04/2012, at approximately 8:04 pm, Officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of S Jefferson St & W South St for failing to stop at a stop sign. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Robert Allen Vaughn. During the course of the traffic stop a police K9 responded and conducted a sniff of the vehicle. The K9 alerted to the presence of drugs within the vehicle and Vaughn was placed under arrest. During a search of Vaughn and the vehicle, officers discovered suspected marijuana, oxycodone, and Aderol.
Vaughn was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Oxycodone and Possession of Aderol.
