Man is arrested for Destruction of Property on today's date and is also found to have two open arrest warrants through the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
On today's date, 05-29-12, at approximately 1940 hours, OFC John Hoxie and other officers with the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division responded to 1101 W. Key Parkway, Apt. 204 (Windsor Garden Apartments) for a report of an intoxicated male inside an apartment destroying property. The residents of the apartments, who did know the subject, had to retreat into a locked bathroom for safety after the subject, later identified as Michael Joseph Weigle, would not leave. When officers arrived, Weigle was identified as he attempted to flee the apartment. Mr. Weigle initially refused to identify himself. OFC Hoxie was able to confirm that he had destroyed a wall within the apartment in question. OFC Hoxie placed him under arrest for the destruction of property and learned once his full identification was established that he had two open arrest warrants through the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Weigle was transported to Central Booking to be charged with Destruction of Property by OFC Hoxie and the FCSO sent a deputy to serve Mr. Weigle with his two arrest warrants.
