Directed Patrol Team, Drug Enforcement Unit, and Criminal Investigation Section Officers Serve Search and Seizure Warrant


Frederick, MD -Officers from the Frederick Police Department’s Directed Patrol Team served a search and seizure warrant on FridayMay 7, 2019, at approximately 5:25 am in the 400blk of Center Street.  The warrant resulted in three arrests from the location:  Michael Shawn Cole,  Mera Nichole Nicole, and Antashia Smith, all were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

In early May, Officer Randy Lawson and Officer Kowalsky began an investigation involving drug complaints stemming from a residence in the 400 block of Center Street.   Officers from the Directed Patrol Team (DPT) worked with Detectives from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Criminal Investigations Section (CIS) to obtain a search and seizure warrant for the residence.  The warrant was served without incident.   

The Frederick Police Department’s, Directed Patrol Team, made up of a Lieutenant, Sergeant, Corporal, and five (5) Officers continue to conduct enhanced enforcement efforts in the downtown area.  Specifically, the areas of Carroll Creek, South Market Street, and West All Saints Street.   The Team has been working with the neighborhood to address concerns of drug and alcohol use, trespassing, littering, and noise violations.

  • Possession of CDS: Not marijuana, schedule II Crack Cocaine
  • Possession of CDS paraphernalia
  • Keeping Disorderly House
  • Keep and maintain a common nuisance residential building for the illegal storage of CDS and CDS paraphernalia
  • Keep and maintain a common nuisance resorted by drugs abusers for the purposes of illegally administering CDS.


Mera Nichole Nicole  DOB: 04/06/1991

400 block Center Street, Frederick, MD 21701

Charges:

  • Possession of CDS: Not marijuana, schedule II Crack Cocaine
  • Possession of CDS paraphernalia
  • Keeping Disorderly House
  • Keep and maintain a common nuisance residential building for the illegal storage of CDS and CDS paraphernalia
  • Keep and maintain a common nuisance resorted by drugs abusers for the purposes of illegally administering CDS.

 

Antashia Smith  DOB: 02/02/1995

400 block Center Street, Frederick, MD 21701

Charges:

  • Possession of CDS: Not marijuana, schedule II Crack Cocaine
  • Possession of CDS paraphernalia
  • Keeping Disorderly House
  • Keep and maintain a common nuisance residential building for the illegal storage of CDS and CDS paraphernalia
  • Keep and maintain a common nuisance resorted by drugs abusers for the purposes of illegally administering CDS.
