FPD TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL COMMUNITY CRIME SUMMIT
FREDERICK, MD - The Frederick Police Department along with the Neighborhood Advisory Councils (NACs) will be hosting the 2019 Community Crime Summit on Saturday, June 8, 2019. The Summit will be from 8 am to 12 pm at the FPD Training Facility located at 6424 Plant Road. The Crime Summit is FREE and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
The group topic this year will be Drug and Alcohol Trends in the Community. There will also be three breakout sessions offered, topics include:
- What would you do? – Scenarios
- IT Revolution in Law Enforcement
- Gang Awareness
- Personal & Neighborhood Safety
- Community Wellness
- Syringe Services
- DUI/DRE Awareness
- Drunk Buster

“I encourage our residents and business owners to participate in our Community Crime Summit and learn about crime prevention techniques that can potentially keep them and their neighborhoods safe”, said Chief Ed Hargis.
