Frederick Police Investigate Traffic Collision Involving Pedestrian
FREDERICK, MD – On today’s date at approximately 2:10 pm, officers responded to a traffic collision with personal injury in the area of West Patrick Street at South Jefferson Street. Officers arrived on the scene and located an adult male victim with serious head trauma.
The victim was struck as he was crossing the street in the crosswalk. The driver remained on scene and was determined to be at fault for the collision. The male victim was transported to Baltimore Shock Trauma for his injuries. During the investigation, officers blocked the intersection and diverted traffic onto secondary roadways. The collision is being investigated by the Crash Reconstructionist.
