Frederick Police Investigate a Robbery/Shooting
FREDERICK, MD – At 2136 hours on December 13, 2018, officers of the Frederick Police Department (FPD) responded to a call from the CVS Pharmacy at 402 South Jefferson Street. There, officers located an adult woman with a gunshot wound to her upper body. The victim told officers that she had just been shot inside the Exxon at 400 South Jefferson Street during an armed robbery by two men. After being shot, the victim sought help at the CVS. An ambulance crew took the victim to an area hospital for treatment, and her injury is not considered life-threatening.
Two suspects fled the scene. They are black males in their late teens to late 20s, both with thin to medium builds, and both under six feet tall.
