Frederick Police Investigate Firearm Discharge
FREDERICK, MD – At about 2013 hours on October 2, 2018, a resident in Amber Meadows called the Frederick Police Department and reported hearing several gunshots in the area of Amber Drive and Carriage Way. Patrol officers arrived and searched the area. A firearm discharge was confirmed when another resident in the area called to report his house had been struck by a round. A Crime Scene Technician arrived to process the location for evidence. Officers did not locate anyone struck by the rounds.
Patrol officers will be conducting additional checks of the area. Please report any suspicious activity to the Frederick Police Department. If there is no emergency or urgency, use the non-emergency Dispatch number: 301-600-2102.
