On Monday April 30, 2012 at approximately 2202 hours officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the Washingtonian Express in the 1300 block of West Patrick Street for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival officers discovered that two subjects entered the gas station and approached the clerk. One of the subjects produced a handgun and demanded that the employee opened the register. One of the suspects took an undetermined amount of money from the register. Both subjects exited the front door and fled eastbound from the store. The clerk was not injured during the robbery. The clerk could only provide vague description of the suspects, which are as follows:
-Suspect #1: White male, approximately 6’00-6-02. Large build. Wearing a black hat and light colored sweatshirt. Subject had a mask covering his face.
-Suspect #2: Black male, approximately 5-10-6-00. Large build. Wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans. Face covered by hoodie.
