Police Activities League Open House
Thursday, May 17th, 4-6 pm
Frederick, MD - The Frederick Police Activities League (PAL) will be hosting an open house this coming Thursday, May 17th from 4-6 pm at the PAL Center, 111 Pennsylvania Avenue. This is a great opportunity to learn about the PAL summer program. At 5 pm, there will be a Scales and Tales animal show, sponsored by the Frederick Woman’s Civic Club.
In Frederick, youth and police are breaking down barriers and forming relationships through the PAL program. The PAL Center located at 111 Pennsylvania Avenue, is a place where youth can go to play sports, get homework assistance, use computers, and interact with FPD officers. The officers mentor the youth through all aspects of their lives, creating special bonds that will last a lifetime. The Frederick PAL program has been in existence since 1999.
