On 4/8/2017 at approximately 9:35 am Officers with the
Frederick Police Department responded to the area of 700 Blk of Acropolis Way
for a domestic assault.
Upon arrival Officers learned that a verbal altercation occurred in a parking lot. The male then grabbed a female from
behind and dragged her into a nearby apartment.
The male was identified as Jonathan Sterling Jones (DOB 1/5/93).
Officers made contact with subjects in the apartment and
located the victim. Through the course
of investigation, it was discovered that the subjects were known to each other
and an argument over property had occurred.
Officers found the victim to have injuries consistent with the domestic assault.
Jones was taken to Central Booking for processing.
