FPD Detectives charge on stabbing in Little
Brook.
FREDERICK, MD – On 03/25/2017 at approximately 2218 hours
members of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1200BLK of Little
Brook Drive for a report of a fight.
Upon their arrival officers did not locate a fight as all parties and
witnesses had left the scene.
A short time later the Frederick Police Department was
notified by MSP that a male stabbing victim was transported to an area medical
facility with multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The victim had advised it occurred during the
fight on Little Brook Drive. The victim
has since been treated and released from the hospital.
Detectives responded to the medical center and
interviewed the victim. The victim was
able to identify the suspect as Darnell Morris Mason, of the 500BLK of Essex
Place. Mr. Mason was taken into custody
without incident and is awaiting his appearance before the district court
commissioner at this time.
