Frederick, MD.-On 03/14/2017 at approximately 9:51pm, officers of The
Frederick Police Department responded to the CVS store, at 402 S. Jefferson
Street, for a robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers learned that
two B/Ms stole prescription narcotics from the pharmacy area. As the suspects
began to flee, an employee attempted to stop one of them. Unfortunately, the
employee sustained a minor lower body injury and both suspects were able to
escape. EMS personnel quickly responded to the scene and were able to
transport the employee to Frederick Memorial Hospital to treat his non-life
threatening injury. Since this is an open investigation, the name of the
employee is not being released at this time.
