Frederick Police responded to calls for shots being fired in the 300 Block of Adam Road Monday, 12/19, at approximately 6:30pm. Through their investigation, Detectives were able to identify and apprehend a juvenile suspect for the incident.
Frederick Police responded to calls for shots being fired in the 300 Block of Adam Road Monday, 12/19, at approximately 6:30pm.
Officers who responded to the scene found a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire as well as other evidence of a shooting. No one was injured, but witnesses said suspects on foot in the area fired at the vehicle after a brief verbal exchange with the driver. Through subsequent investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as a juvenile, whose name will not be released. The suspect was later located at his residence and taken into custody. Evidence of the crime was also located at the residence.
