A Frederick man was arrested Monday night after pointing a firearm during a fight
On 12/07/2015 at approximately 4:21 PM Frederick Police Officers responded to the area of 90 Waverly Drive, Frederick, MD for a reported assault in progress.
Officers arrived on scene and located several victims of an assault which had occurred in the area of 90 Waverly Drive. Information was received that the suspect in this case, later identified to be Carlton White-Davis, had pointed a firearm at the victims. The further investigation showed that two different groups, who were known to one another prior to the assault, became involved in a physical fight. At some point during this fight the suspect, White-Davis, ran into a nearby apartment. A short time later White-Davis returned to the scene of the assault with a firearm and pointed the firearm at the group.
White-Davis was located by officers inside of an apartment nearby and taken into custody without further incident. The firearm used in this assault was recovered by detectives after a search of the apartment. White-Davis was later transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
