Whittier Elementary School & the Bicycle Escape
Frederick, MD -- More and more children re riding bicycles. Many are riding to and from school either by themselves or with a parent. To support this trend and help keep our children safe, the Frederick Police Department, Whittier Elementary School, and the Bicycle Escape are putting on a Bicycle Swap/Rodeo at Whittier Elementary School on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.

This free Bicycle Swap/Rodeo will feature a bike inspection, helmet inspection, and numerous skills stations. Parents need only to bring their children with their bicycles and helmets. If you have a bicycle that is in need of a rider and is in good/ safe working condition, and you would like to donate it, please bring it. Everyone who can ride a bicycle is invited to attend. The course will be open from 1:00pm until 3:30pm and it takes approximately fifteen minutes to complete.

This Bicycle Swap/ Rodeo will begin in the front parking lot at the Whittier Elementary School located at 2400 Whittier Drive, Frederick, Maryland 21702.
