City Streets Sweeping Will Take Place July 5th
Residents Reminded to Obey Restricted Parking Designations
Frederick, MD – June 24, 2015: The City of Frederick would like to remind residents that Sunday, July 5 is not considered a holiday and street sweeping and parking enforcement will take place as usual. City street sweepers will be working mainly in the Downtown area on Market Street and Patrick Street early Sunday morning
City residents and visitors are reminded to be aware of and obey the Restricted Parking designations on all City streets. Parking in a Restricted Parking area at any time may result in a fine.
The Street Sweeping Department’s mission is to support the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Frederick by keeping City streets clean. Street sweeping improves the quality of storm water runoff, removal of foreign matter, extends the life of the roads, and maintains a clean appearance.
