During the month of February, Detective Sean McKinney began an investigation into an office theft. During the investigation Det McKinney was able to uncover several unauthorized payments that the office manager had made without the owner’s permission.
During the month of February, Detective Sean McKinney began an investigation into an interoffice theft that had occurred at a medical practice located at 77 Thomas Johnson Drive in Frederick City. During the investigation Det McKinney was able to uncover several unauthorized payments that the office manager had made to herself without the owner’s permission.
Det McKinney worked with the Frederick County States Attorneys Office during the investigation and as a result the office manager, Terrilyn Croyle Cohen, was charged. Cohen was charged via a Circuit Court criminal summons with Forgery, Theft Scheme $1000-$10,000 and Theft Scheme $10,000-$100,000.
