As the result of a search and seizure warrant served by the Frederick Police Department Special Operations and Patrol Divisions, a significant amount of heroin was seized and a suspect arrested.
On 06-04-2015 at approximately 9:45 p.m. members of the Frederick Police Department’s Special Operations Division including the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Street Crimes Team (SCT) supported by officers from the Patrol Division served a search and seizure warrant on an apartment located in the 1200 block of Aynsely Ct. Frederick, MD. The warrant was the result of a weeks long investigation into CDS distribution and during the investigation, officers were able to identify the arrestee as well as the apartment he was dealing from.
Once entry was made and the arrestee was secured, officers searched the apartment and located a significant quantity of suspected heroin as well as additional paraphernalia indicating the intent to distribute the heroin. Officers also recovered suspected “Spice”, a synthetic form of marijuana.
This was the second time since 05-26-2015, that this arrestee has been arrested and charged with CDS distribution related offenses.
The arrestee was transported to Frederick County Central Booking for processing and at this time is awaiting an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
