On 01-22-2015, officers of the Frederick Police Department’s Street Crimes Team observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of the 1200 block of Littlebrook Drive, in Frederick City.
During the investigation, there came a time when the suspicious vehicle was stopped on traffic violation in the area of W. Patrick Street and Hillcrest Drive. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, and it was determined the driver, who was identified as Colton James Knestout of the 13000 block of Motters Station Road, had an active arrest warrant through the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. Knestout was the placed under arrest for the warrant after it was confirmed by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. During the arrest of Knestout, crack cocaine, heroin and related paraphernalia was located on his person.
Knestout was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
