A Frederick man has been arrested and charged in connection to an armed home invasion robbery...
On Wednesday 01/07/2015 at approximately 12:01 AM Frederick Police Officers responded to the 1200 Block of Little Brook Drive Frederick, MD for a reported robbery which had just occurred.
Frederick Police Detectives were called to the scene to continue the investigation. Det. Petruzzello was assigned to the case as the primary investigator. Det. Petruzzello determined through his investigation that two suspects forced their way into the residence and robbed the resident. During the robbery a knife was used by the suspects.
Det. Petruzzello was able to identify one of the suspects in this case to be Troy Stephino Huskey, DOB 07/08/1986, of Frederick, MD. Det. Petruzzello applied for charges against Huskey and an arrest warrant was issued by a District Court Commissioner on 01/16/2015.
On Tuesday 01/20/2015 at approximately 3:15 PM Troy Huskey was located in the 900 Block of Heather Ridge Drive Frederick, MD by detectives and subsequently arrested on the outstanding arrest warrant. Huskey was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. As of Tuesday evening, Huskey was being held without bond at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
The Frederick Police Department is still seeking the identity of the second suspect in this case.
