Frederick Police detectives are conducting a death investigation...
On Saturday November 22, 2014 at approximately 1:31PM, Frederick Police officers responded to a reported deceased person located in the Monocacy Village Park near Delaware Road Frederick, MD.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division are conducting a death investigation. The deceased has been identified as William Michael Lee, a 30 year old man from Frederick. The cause of death and further details are not being released at this time. This investigation is on-going and pending an autopsy which will be performed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, MD.
Frederick Police Officers and Detectives were on scene until approximately 6:33PM Saturday evening. On today's date, 11/22/14, at approximately 1330 hours, the Frederick Police Department responded to Monocacy Village Park after a person was observed floating in the creek. Upon arrival, officers located an individual deceased in the creek. At the time of this release, Frederick Police officers with the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division are on scene conducting a Death Investigation. No further information is being released at this time as the investigation is currently on-going.
