Missing autistic man located...

On 9/30/2014, at approximately 1615 hours, the missing person, Mr. Stone, was found in Howard County, MD. He was taken to Howard General Hospital for an evaluation, and he was found to be in overall good health. The Frederick Police Department would like to thank the community and allied police and civilian agencies who searched during the past five days. Due to the cooperation and dedication of these professionals and volunteers, this case has been closed with a positive outcome.

The Frederick Police Department is continuing to search for a missing Autistic Man who walked away from a day care facility Thursday morning on South Wisner Street in Frederick.
The missing person is Tijuani Stone of Frederick, MD. Stone is a 24 year old black male that is developmentally disabled and autistic. Stone has a history of wandering and has previously walked significant distances. The last time Stone went missing from Frederick, Stone was located in the Laurel MD area walking on a highway.
Stone is described as followed:
- Black male
- 24 years of age
- Black hair wearing a blue baseball hat
- Brown eyes
- Approximately 5’08” in height
- Approximately 130 pounds
- Blue or grey sweater
- Blue jeans
Stone may also be carrying a purple lunch bag.
The Frederick Police Department has been searching for Stone since he was reported missing. Frederick Police believe Stone could be anywhere within the Frederick region including Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, or Maryland.
The Frederick Police Department believes that the community can be instrumental in helping police locate Stone. The Frederick Police Department is asking citizens to be cognizant of Stone’s photograph and to be on the lookout for him while traveling in and around the region. If you see someone matching Stone’s description or someone who you believe may be Stone please contact your local police department or 911 immediately.
