[ARCHIVED] Destruction of Property

Numerous Vehicles with broken windows in area of Schaffer Dr.

On 02/06/2012 at approximately 0308 hours, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Storrington Dr. for a reported destruction of property. The victim heard their car alarm sounding and discovered that a window had been broken out of the vehicle. Responding officers located 5 more vehicles with broken windows in the Storrington and Schaffer Dr. area. Of the victims contacted, none reported anything missing from inside of the vehicles, just the broken windows.
Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Frederick Police Department at 301 600-2100, or anonymously at 301 600-8477. Crime tips may be sent via text message at 240 674-8477.
