The Frederick Police Department has charged Tyler M. Caudle for multiple counts of malicious destruction of property.
The Frederick Police Department has charged Tyler M. Caudle for multiple counts of malicious destruction of property. The charges were obtained as the Frederick Police Department continues to investigate multiple reports of graffiti at numerous locations throughout the City of Frederick. The majority of the graffiti contained the word “Switch” in various forms. This investigation includes reported incidents dating back to August 2013. Documented incidents prior to August 2013 could not be charged due to statute of limitations.
During this investigation, officers served a search and seizure warrant at 96 Cumberland Court where numerous evidentiary items were collected. After reviewing the evidence and linking the numerous cases, OFC G. Loftis applied for charges and obtained a criminal summons, charging Tyler M. Caudle with thirty-two (32) counts of malicious destruction of property. On 08/08/2014, OFC Loftis served Mr. Caudle with the thirty-three count charging document that also includes one count of Malicious Destruction of Property Scheme due to the continuous course of conduct.
