Mayor Will Deliver “State of the City” Address
Frederick, MD -- Mayor Randy McClement will deliver the “State of the City” address on Monday, July 28th at 7:00 PM. The Address, typically delivered at City Hall will have a new backdrop this year, along the unfinished section of Carroll Creek by the MARC Train station on East Street.
“I selected the location because this area is about to undergo major revitalization as the second phase of the Carroll Creek Linear Park project continues,” said Mayor McClement. “I intend to hold the State of the City Address in the same spot next year as well, so we can see the progress.”
The public is encouraged to attend this event. Coverage is also available on City cable channel 99 or live streaming at www.cityoffrederick.com.
In the event of inclement weather, the Frederick Visitor Center at 151 S. East Street will be the alternate location.
