On 07/11/2014 at approximately 2159 hours, CPL Donovan and other members of the Frederick Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at the Liberty Gas Station located at 1301 N. East Street.
On 07/11/2014 at approximately 2159 hours, CPL Donovan and other members of the Frederick Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at the Liberty Gas Station located at 1301 N. East Street.
Upon arriving on scene, officers found the clerk had received lacerations to his face, hand and arm. The victim advised that the two suspects had approached him outside the store and attempted to force him back into the store. The victim then fought with the suspect for a few minutes. The suspect had struck him with what appeared to be a machete on his face, hand and arms. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment of his injuries which did not appear to be life threatening at this time.
