Chief Dine is proud to announce the launching of a Frederick Police Department Twitter and Facebook page.
Effective February 1, 2012, the Frederick Police Department will transition to a new method of delivering our press releases. The newly formatted press releases will enhance our ability to quickly deliver news and events to our community by communicating directly through the City’s newly redesigned web site. This new method of delivery will enable our customers to receive text message notification of news events.
We have taken steps to ensure this transition has the least amount of impact on those who already subscribe to our press releases. We do not anticipate any problems with this new notification system, however, as with any technology there may be some previous subscribers who notice a change or problem in the new delivery mechanism. In the event you are not receiving our press releases, please visit Subscribe to Frederick Police News Flash to resubmit your information.
The Frederick Police Department recognizes the importance of Social Media as a way to stay connected with our community. Chief Dine is proud to announce the launching of a Frederick Police Department Twitter and Facebook page. Followers can receive additional timely updates on important events affecting the Police Department via Twitter or Facebook, follow us @Fred_MD_Police and like our Facebook page.
