As a reminder, The City of Frederick Offices will be closed in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 16, 2012

The City of Frederick Government Offices
Closed for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
No Trash or Yard Waste Collection

Frederick, MD – As a reminder, The City of Frederick Offices will be closed in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 16, 2012. Offices will reopen at regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.

Clarification to the schedule is as follows:

• The William Talley Recreation Center will be open for business as usual on Monday January 16th.

• The Frederick Community Action Agency and Food Bank will be closed on Monday January 16th.

• The Soup Kitchen will be open from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. on Monday January 16th

• All City parking decks and metered parking will be free on Monday, January 16th

There will be NO Trash Collection Service on Monday, January 16th in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. This notice applies to residents that normally set out their trash out on Sunday evening for Monday morning collection. These residents are asked to hold their trash until the next regularly scheduled trash collection day.

There will also be NO Yard Waste Collection for NAC Area 9 on Monday, January 16th. This will be collected on the next scheduled yard waste collection day for NAC Area 9.
