On 11/23/13 at approximately 5:30am Frederick Police responded to a citizen’s report of subjects removing copper pipes and wiring from a building on Bucheimer Rd. in Frederick.

On 11/23/13 at approximately 5:30am Frederick Police responded to a citizen’s report of subjects removing copper pipes and wiring from a building on Bucheimer Rd. in Frederick. Police responded and located an adult suspect along with 2 juveniles leaving the area in a truck containing a large quantity of copper pipes and wiring from industrial air conditioning units.
Further investigation by OFC S. Payne revealed that the suspect, identified as Zachary Daniel True DOB:02/27/79, has been involved in several separate incidents involving removing copper pipes and other equipment from vacant buildings in the area.
OFC Payne obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. True and he was arrested on 11/29/13 at his residence without incident. He was transported to Central Booking and charged with the following related to the thefts:
Burglary 2nd degree (2 counts)
Burglary 4th degree (3 counts)
Theft $1,000 - $10,000
Theft Scheme $1,000 - $10,000
Malicious destruction of property under $1,000
Malicious destruction of property over $1,000
Contributing to the condition of a child (2 counts)
