Golden Mile Alliance Seeking Board Members
Frederick, MD -- The Golden Mile Alliance (GMA) is seeking business representatives to fill two open positions on the GMA Board of Directors for a period of two years beginning January 2014. Board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings, participate in events sponsored by the GMA and serve on at least one standing committee. Interested parties may submit a letter of interest indicating qualifications, including why they are interested in serving and what Golden Mile business they represent. Applicants can submit their letters of interest via email to firstname.lastname@example.org through November 11, 2013. Qualified applicants will be selected at the GMA's December meeting and will be notified shortly thereafter.
The Alliance is also actively seeking interested parties to serve on several committees including Business Development, Promotions, Design and Fundraising. Inquiries about joining these committees may be sent to the above email address also. The GMA meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Annex, 140 W. Patrick Street. The meetings are open to the public.
