On Tuesday, September 10th, the Frederick Police Department responded to a number of construction sites regarding the breaking in of storage containers, and the removal of construction equipment and supplies.
On September 09, 2013 the Frederick Police Department were called to a number of construction sites throughout the Frederick City area for thefts of supplies and construction equipment. It was learned that metal storage containers are being broken into and property is being removed. Entry into these storage units have been made by drilling and cutting locks secured onto the containers and gaining entry. Construction tools, equipment and supplies are being removed. A total of five separate incidents are being investigated at this time.
The Frederick City Police Department is asking its neighbors, friends and business partners for assistance in regards to these incidents.
