On Thursday August 8 and Friday August 9 2013 the Frederick Police Department will be conducting training in the area of Progress Drive and Monocacy Boulevard
The Frederick Police Department Training Unit will be conducting training in the area of Progress Drive and Monocacy Boulevard on Thursday August 8 and Friday August 9. The training will run from approximately 1630 hours until approximately 2330 hours. The training will involve mock traffic stop scenarios involving student officers and sworn officers. Training areas will be marked by signs that indicate Police Training is ongoing. No roads will be closed during the training. This press release is designed to inform residents and travelers of the training in an effort to alleviate any concerns. This training is an example of the continuing effort of the Frederick Police Department to train its officers at the highest level. If there are any concerns please contact Sgt.
