On today’s date at 5:21pm Ofc. Gregware was on patrol when he observed several vehicles pulling over in the area of W. Patrick St. @ Willowdale Dr. Several drivers of other vehicles attempted to render aid to a male who was riding a bicycle and was struck by a car. The male was transported from the scene by ambulance to Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown. Oficers are still on the scene traffic is being diverted. The Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
