Frederick Police officers arrest two suspects resulting from two separate residential burglaries
On 05/26/2013 at approximately 1:37AM, officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to a residential burglary in the 500 block of Smoketree Ct. At approximately 1:50AM, additional officers responded to the 100 block of Deerfield Drive for another residential burglary. Through the course of the investigation, officers learned both burglaries were related and the suspects and victims knew each other and were involved in an on-going dispute.
It was revealed that David Nowalk and Seth Smart were the suspects from both burglaries and that during the burglaries they assaulted persons inside both residences, and destroyed numerous items inside the homes. Both Nowalk and Smart were located a few hours later and were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. The victims at both residences sustained minor injuries.
